The Farm

Caroline and Chad share a deep-rooted love for nature, outdoor living, design, and building beautiful, purposeful spaces. They always dreamed of a simpler life—one filled with fresh-grown food, animals roaming freely, and the joy of sharing this lifestyle with others. That dream quietly took root with a simple trip to the local feed store for a half-dozen tiny chicks. As the flock grew (thanks to a bit of “chicken math”), their homesteading vision quickly outgrew its bounds.

On their humble three-acre plot, the dream came to life. That first spring, the chickens upgraded to a custom-built 10'x16' "chicken mansion," which has since been featured twice in Country Living Magazine. A fully enclosed run was added, fencing went up, and the menagerie began to grow. Enter the enchanting Sebastopol geese—curly-feathered guardians who brought both beauty and purpose, inspiring the whimsical name: Wild Feather Farm.

Today, the farm is a lively sanctuary home to 50+ rare and heritage breed chickens, dairy goats, mini donkeys, sheep, honey bees, a spirited pinto horse named Rio, Aussie pups, curious farm cats, and one charming bunny named Oliver. Caroline and Chad have a special passion for growing rainbow-hued produce, hand-cut flowers, and collecting baskets full of stunning rainbow eggs from their beloved hens. The garden is their refuge—an earthy haven to unplug, dig deep, breathe in the blooms, and reconnect with nature. In fall 2024, their greatest adventure arrived with the birth of their beautiful son, Tristan Wilde. Now toddling through rows of flowers and animal pastures, Tristan is the embodiment of a wild-hearted farm child—growing up grounded in wonder, hard work, and the pure magic of outdoor life.

The Market

Wild Feather Farm’s online market took flight in 2018, sparked by Caroline’s simple hobby of designing rubber stamps for her own farm and egg cartons. What started as a creative side project quickly grew into a beloved collection that found its way into the hands—and hearts—of chicken keepers and homesteaders across the country.

From those humble beginnings, Wild Feather Farm has flourished, now proudly shipping products throughout the U.S. and to customers around the world. The homesteading community has been the heartbeat of our journey, standing behind two dreamers who believed in something a little wild and a lot handmade. One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is connecting with you—hearing your stories, celebrating your milestones, and becoming part of your homesteading journey. You shape who we are, and in some small way, we hope to leave our mark on your story, too. Chad is a proud farm dad, dog dad, and human dad who brings heart, humor, and hard work to everything he does. A former baseball and football player, he’s a lifelong fan of the Texas Longhorns and never misses a chance to cheer them on.
